    At Memora, your privacy and the protection of your data is our top priority. All data collected, both personal and non-personal, is protected with the highest global standards.

    1. Agreement to Our Legal Terms

    Welcome to Memora, operated by Fracta (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

    Supplemental terms (Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy) are incorporated by reference and may be updated; continued use constitutes acceptance.

    You must be at least 13 years old to use Memora; underage accounts may be terminated.

    2. Content Use, Intellectual Property & Contributions

    You retain ownership of what you upload, but grant Memora a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use it to provide the service (including display in the UI).

    By submitting notes, comments, or feedback, you grant Memora a perpetual license to reproduce and display that content in connection with the service.

    3. Recording Policy & Institutional Compliance

    • Follow all legal and institutional regulations when recording or sharing content.
    • Ensure compliance with your school, university, or workplace rules before uploading proprietary materials.

    4. Prohibited Activities

    • No bots, scrapers, or automated data extraction.
    • No malware, hacking, or other illegal activity.
    • No harassment, hate speech, or prohibited conduct.

    5. Purchases & Refunds

    • In‑app purchases via Apple App Store / Google Play Billing (managed by RevenueCat) and web purchases via Paddle (Merchant of Record).
    • Cancel anytime; you retain access until the end of your billing cycle.
    • Refund window: 48 hours of purchase or up to 10 AI generations — whichever comes first.
    • No refunds after the window or for promotional plans.
    • To request a refund, email support@getmemora.app with your order ID and reason.

    Approved refunds take 7–14 business days to process.

    6. Third‑Party Content (YouTube Embeds)

    Memora allows you to embed YouTube videos via an <iframe> player in any note.

    We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for content, ads, or links in the embedded player.

    You must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and Developer Policies when embedding content.

    7. Privacy Policy

    Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your data.

    8. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access for policy violations or legal reasons, without notice or liability.

    9. Changes & Governing Law

    We may revise these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Maharashtra, India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.

    10. Dispute Resolution

    Any disputes shall be finally settled by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with seat in Pune, conducted in English.

    11. Corrections, Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

    We are not responsible for typographical errors or outdated information. Use the Services at your own risk; they are provided "as is" without warranties.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use or inability to use the Services.
